Positive Integrated Physiotherapy’s motto is creating balance, whether that balance has been skewed as a result of direct injury (e.g. car accident), sports injury or has developed over time – due to repetitive postural patterns such as sitting at a computer, carrying children on your hips for years or riding hunched over a bicycle for kilometres on end training for an event.
We aim to address the root cause of the imbalance and help you find ways to bring yourself back into balance, to prevent it from recurring again.
This involves hands-on treatment such as:
- physiotherapy – structural mobilisation and manipulation
- soft tissue releases (deep tissue massage and myofascial releases)
- craniosacral therapy to calm the nervous system
- acupressure/dry needling
- mind-body techniques – piIates and yoga to bring you more awareness to how you breathe, how you move and the way your body has adapted to pain, and we address how we can break those patterns of pain
We look at the body as a whole and aim to get you off the treatment table and back into life!
All of the above services can be claimed under most private health funds.
